You feel sure the fish-warrior is out for your blood. You hunker down, checking your arrows. There are ten left.

Just then, Angelika mutters a phrase in a mysterious language. You stare at her, wondering if it’s a peculiar dialect – people in the mountains are pretty weird, that’s well known.

But then you see that she is chanting a spell. And as she incants, a cloud of crackling red fog leaves her hands, and spreads over the area. Finnart touches it, but shrieks in pain. Soon, the warriors have dispersed.

“You’re more resourceful than I realized,” you comment.
