Photo of two young people with brown skin & dark hair, standing close, facing each other with eyes closed. Her face is smiling. She slightly tilts her head up. Her forehead meets his lips as he kisses her. She wears a mustard yellow-brown cloth poncho, and he wears a brown-tone, striped cloth poncho. They hold hands, with their arms down, only slightly visible under the ponchos. The calm water, and rocky, green mountains are in the background, andthe blue sky is spotted with white clouds.

I trail my fingers down his body, exploring the hairs on his chest and belly.

He inhales and I pause, letting us both relax into this feeling of togetherness.

My palm gently rests atop his heart, being with him in presence.

Words aren’t needed to express how we feel.

Connection.
