Each night, she set aside her worries on the nightstand, to be burned with the incense, then carried away in the smoke.
Nighttimes, she asked the spirits to bless her with light, cleansing her for the morning to come.
Each morning, she awoke refreshed, renewed, ready for the day ahead.
