Summer
Lazy days suspend future visions and under a warm blanket, is laid to rest. Long walks are called for, legs bearing the weight of summer bodies, their eyes wrinkled, their limbs bronzed with a touch of golden hue. A bird’s song is finally heard, the benches now heavy, the water turned to wine for chapped lips whose kisses are deep and wanting.
