WHAT’S IN STORE FOR XEND FINANCE IN 2022?: A LOOK AT OUR 2022 ROADMAP
“Rome was not built in a day” is a common saying meant to convey that great achievements take time to build.
In fact, by some accounts, Rome took 1,229 years to build from the first foundation until the collapse of the Roman Empire. Fortunately, we don’t plan on taking that long and we aren’t going anywhere.
Closer to this century, in the Blockchain space, some of the companies we admire are Polygon, a Layer-2 scaling solution, founded in 2017. It took Polygon almost three years before making any waves. Or, the Layer-2 distributed ledger technology protocol, Radix, which was founded in 2013. They launched their Mainnet in July 0f 2021.
Good things take time to build.
One of the core principles of Xend Finance is transparency. Since our launch in March of 2021, we have always had our roadmap on our home page and updated constantly with our progress. In fact, here is a review of our 2021 year. We are proud to give you a glimpse of our 2022 roadmap.

- Savings: Savings feature will allow users to save their idle funds directly on the Xend Finance DeFi Layer-2 protocols. This feature will make the Xend Finance DeFi browser wallet the first yield generation browser wallet extension.
- Swapping: Using the swap aggregator, users can get best quotes from different DEXs to ensure they swap tokens at best rates.
- Bridging: The Xend Finance Cross-Chain DeFi Browser Wallet Extension comes with a cross-chain bridging service to allow users move their cryptocurrencies conveniently from their browser wallets across different chains at very low fees.
- NFT Marketplace: The NFT Marketplace allows users to buy, sell, and mint NFTs that can be used in the browser wallet extension.
- Customized Wallet Skins: The DeFi browser wallet comes with customizable skins that are NFTs and can be purchased from the NFT marketplace.
- Support for GameFi: The browser wallet will support blockchain gaming by creating a fun experience for blockchain gamers with our customizable skins, animated avatars, etc. Gamers will be able to use our fiat-to-crypto on-ramp directly to access different P2E games.
- Development of Swapping on mobile
- Multiple digital asset support on mobile app
- Staking support on mobile app: We will support staking of $XEND tokens on the Xend Finance Mobile App
- Development of xVault on Polygon
- Scaling Xend Bridge to support multiple local currencies such as KES, USD, Euro etc
