Shoot, Earn, Pioneer, build your Metaverse

This phrase describes how the world of XOCIETY will be built. The process is divided into two phases, the first being the “Game Phase,” described by [Shoot, Earn, Pioneer]. In this phase, Team NDUS will present players with an appealing and engaging virtual world with fun game dynamics. [Build your Metaverse] is the final goal of this project: a fully decentralized gaming & creation community of high quality.

“Shoot”

In the age of XOCIETY, Earth is filled with fearsome and hostile creatures threatening human existence. Players must engage these monsters and secure safe territories for humanity to rebuild civilization. XOCIETY is a Third Person Shooter, which allows for engaging gameplay and combat experiences and hyper-responsive player control.

When a compelling backstory is the entry point of immersion, gameplay with maximum replayability is key to players settling into the gaming world. Unfortunately, we have witnessed some metaverse left empty without players as they have failed to create attachments. Team NDUS is focusing on providing quality gameplay experiences for players, creating a sense of belonging to a newly constructed Web3 world.

“Earn”

The gameplay loop of XOCIETY is based on great input and strong, positive feedback. Through shooting and winning, players will find chances to obtain various loot. These assets can be consumed to forge better gear or traded in the market for profit. This core of loot and sell has been prevalent in Web2 gaming, although conducted insecurely and sometimes obstructed by centralized decision-making. Therefore, Team NDUS is adopting public blockchain and tokens to guarantee these transactions are carried out safely and transparently.

The key difference from other P2E games is that nobody is guaranteed to “Earn,” even though the team is concentrating efforts to enhance everyone’s “Fun.” The adoption of blockchain is to openly and transparently record in-game transactions and experiences so that every entity gets a fair chance to “Win” the earn. Having designed various formats of game economies, the team is focusing on blueprinting a sustainable Web3 game economy model to prevent premature failures of other P2E games.

“Pioneer”

XOCIETY is a Loot Shooter designed with detailed strategic & role-play based progression. On the reset Earth of XOCIETY, hundreds of regions are undiscovered, and the chances of better loot match the threat level of monster activities. By conquering and developing more dangerous areas, players can claim higher-quality assets and materials, even the land itself. Players will choose to settle and cultivate the region or trade the ownership and continue the conquest as explorers.

Team NDUS is designing a game economy where all assets -from a rifle to a region of land- hold their unique in-game utilities and values. Devs are convinced that the values of metaverse-related assets should be measured in substance by considering factors such as location and loot potentials instead of through unreliable hype based on unsustainable game design.

“Build your Metaverse”

After successfully delivering the “Game Phase” to Web3, the dev team will launch the second half of development: the “Metaverse Phase.” No dev team can create and provide an unlimited amount of content in-house. Only when gaming entities, including players and creators, involve themselves in content generation can there be a genuine gaming community that self-supplies a broad spectrum of “Fun” resulting in a true player and experience base.

There may be Web2 & 3 metaverses that have succeeded in establishing creator communities, but only a few have managed to run these groups fairly and openly. Some projects even deny releasing information on how many players there actually are. This is where the blockchain philosophy is adopted to trustlessly guarantee the transparency of transactions and decision-making.
