Hi folks!

I’m back in the San Diego offices after a quick trip to Memphis to visit our partners at the FedEx Institute of Technology. A lot happened while I was out — here’s what you (and I) might have missed!

Sentinel-to-Sentinel Bound Witness interactions via the XY4+

The main thing that separates XYO from our competitors is the ability for our lower-cost and lower-connectivity devices (Sentinels) to interact directly with each other, rather than through a more powerful intermediary (Bridge). These interactions are now a reality, and will be available on all our XY4+ Sentinels after an upcoming update.

We’ve released the first stage of our 2019 Tech Roadmap

We released the first stage of our tech roadmap for 2019. This roadmap, which will be updated regularly, is a “bottom-up” look at all XYO components, detailing the goals for each build of various XYO projects.

FedEx Institute of Technology opens Communitech Research Park

On Thursday, our partners at the University of Memphis’s FedEx Institute of Technology officially opened the Communitech Research Park. I got the chance to join them for the grand opening, meet other members of our cohort, and connect with some of the Institute’s key stakeholders.

XYO and DRVR: Making Vehicle Fleets Smarter

We’ve partnered with fleet management tool DRVR to enhance their analytics engine, delivering better location data to the fleets that need it.

Meet Justin Bogle: Motocross champ and XYO ambassador

We chose Justin for more than his racing record — he’s taken first at the Eastern Regional 250X Class Championship, and made the top five in many, many other high-profile competitions all over the country.

Thanks, as always, for the support. Make sure to get on our mailing list below for all the latest news and updates!
