How to Swap Your Existing $DUCKIES for $DUCKIES v2

A step-by-step guide on how to claim $DUCKIES v2 and increase your holdings in the new token.

Earlier, Yellow announced the $DUCKIES token migration, which is set to enhance the platform and token’s scalability, functionality, and efficiency. We are happy to share that we are now ready to proceed with the migration.

The redemption process will be conducted through https://www.yellow.org/duckies/me and lasts until April 5th, 2023, 10 AM UTC.
Token holders can exchange deprecated $DUCKIES for the new token at a 2000:1 ratio (for example, 2000 $DUCKIES v1 will be redeemed to 1 $DUCKIES v2).
The liquidity will be added to the liquidity pool by the market participants to ensure the holder’s accumulated value does not inflate. This process might take from a few days to a few weeks.

Important note:
The team will perform a website upgrade and maintenance for yellow.org/duckies and yellow.org/duckies/me from 7:00 AM UTC | 2 AM ETS | 2 PM GMT+7, March 6 until 6:00 PM UTC | 11 AM ETS | 11 PM GMT+7, March 6.
During the website would be unavailable. The maintenance period can be extended upon necessity.

How to Redeem Your $DUCKIES v2

1. Log in to the platform

Go to https://www.yellow.org/duckies/me and click on Sign up and use any of the suggested login suggestions. Please ensure you are using the same credentials you used initially upon registering to not lose your $DUCKIES balance.

2. Connect your MetaMask wallet and switch to the Polygon network

On the Duckies website, select “Connect Wallet,” then connect your MetaMask wallet from the menu that opens up. Confirm the connection from your wallet pop-up.

3. Claim your new token

You will be able to see the token swap option in the list of quests. The amount depends on your old $DUCKIES balance and is calculated with the (old)2000:1(new) ratio.

4. Add the New $DUCKIES Token Contract Address

Now that you’ve converted, you have a brand new token, which your wallet might not automatically recognize. You’ll have to manually add the new contract address.

Add with the button on Duckies website:

Click on the info button and, then, click “Add DUCKIES to your wallet.”

Add to MetaMask manually:

Scroll to the bottom of your wallet and select “Import tokens”.

Enter the new $DUCKIES smart contract address 0x18e73A5333984549484348A94f4D219f4faB7b81, and the other fields will be automatically filled in.

Then click “Add Custom Token” and “Import Token”. You should now see $DUCKIES in your wallet.
