There’s always a first of everything. First steps, first day at school, first best friend, first date, first time you got a promotion — you get the picture.
To celebrate the launch of the first newsletter from the Youmeus publication, we’d like to tell you a little bit about some of our editor firsts.
Meet Will
After a corporate life of helping people become effective communicators and appreciate the power of people in business, I decided to spread my wings and use the internet to reach a wider audience with my articles, books and courses. I started Youmeus to also spread the depth of information we can offer by inviting articles from writers in the other disciplines of people interaction, like self, family and social.
It’s early days, but I am quickly becoming aware of the wealth of knowledge of this vital subject to be found on Medium and I am very excited about growing our number of writers and bringing you more of this valuable expertise.

Meet Yasmin
I was 15 when I first had a glass of wine with family I hadn’t seen in a while (shh!) to celebrate coming together for Christmas. I was 24 when I read my first story on Medium. It was intriguing — being able to read original content from authors all over the world, all with different messages, stories, morals, ideas, themes, to communicate.
A lot of people don’t realise that when they’re doing something for the first time, they’re connecting and communicating; be it with themselves, a teacher, a friend, a parent or a partner. Youmeus is the publication designed to focus on getting the very best out of these relationships, not just the first time, but every time.
