Things move quickly in web3. To help our community stay on top of the latest developments at Zapper, we share regular product updates that recap Zapper’s newest features, app integrations, and upcoming initiatives.

Since our last update a lot has happened here in Zapper and exploring web3 gets more exciting everyday. Android App is now live for anyone to download. We had cool improvements that made it easier to explore NFT transactions and see token owners. Studio integrated 12 DeFI dapps and updated another 14 with new positions.

In our last update, we shared a little leak about a potential PFP collection being developed 🤭. We have a little more leaking today.

Let’s jump into it and get excited about what to expect next!

Android App Launched

Finally, the circle is complete with the most expected Zapper Android app which was launched on September 14th.

Now, anyone can carry a web3 explorer in their pocket and dive deep into wallets, NFTs and tokens while waiting in line for a coffee, or while enjoying some “me time” on the porcelain throne.

Check out what you can do now with Zapper’s Android App:

  1. Discover new opportunities in NFTs

🔮 Browse any NFT collection on Ethereum
📊 Explore trending NFT Collections
🪄 Track the estimated value of NFTs and their associated rarity score.

2. Explore web3 wallets and tokens

✨ Dive into wallets to see which positions and NFTs they hold
🤯 Find info on 7000+ tokens on 14 networks

3. Track your Portfolio and bundle multiple wallets

🔀 Track assets across different protocols and networks

The android version is read-only (for now, keep your eyes open 👀). We’ll continually add new features to Android to eventually reach full parity with our web app. Expect more to come soon! Notably:

We also want to thank our fantastic community, that made the launch as smooth as possible helping beta testing the app and kill all the bugs. 🪲

AND don’t forget that our iOS Mobile App is also available on the AppStore for everyone to download. It will help you enjoy unrivalled portfolio and NFT tracking on the go. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, click here to get started!

Zapper NFTs

NFTs Estimated Value

The NFT team has been working hard to perfect and optimize our calculation for estimated values.

We recently made a rabbit-hole like thread that explains how our estimated value is calculated. Dive into it now:

Activity tab exploration

During the last month we also launched the perfect degen tool, the activity tab exploration for NFTs. The one and only feature you’ve been waiting for. Why? Because it has a super powerful feature that you won’t find anywhere else. Spoiler: Filtering the activity happening on a collection based on traits!

The activity tab exploration allows you to see the transactional activity happening in real-time on a specific NFT collection.

You are able to see all the sales that happened, including:

  • Price of the concluded sale;
  • At what time the transaction happened;
  • From what wallet to what wallet the transaction happened;
  • A redirect link to Etherscan.

You are also able to filter the activity tab and search for a specific transaction by:

  • account — seeing the transactions of a specific wallet within a collection.
  • Token ID — seeing the transactions that happened about a specific single NFT.
  • Traits — seeing all the transactions related to a specific trait within that collection.

Another cool ability of the activity tab is that you can toggle between all transitions (all) and “transactions of the accounts you follow in zapper (following).

Token exploration improvement

Exploring tokens just became more interesting! You can now see all the owners for any token on ethereum with the “owners tab” in the token page.

For example, see LINK token below. Just go to the Link page, click on the tab “Owners” and you will see all the wallets that owns LINK tokens.

From the above list, you can see that the wallet 0xf977814e90da44bfa03b6295a0616a897441acec owns almost 4% of all LINK!

You can also discover which accounts you follow on Zapper owns that token, by using the toggle and changing from “all” to “following”.

See the example below with the Friends with Benefits DAO token.

With this view, we can see 8 people we follow on Zapper owns the FWB token, what % of all outstanding FWB tokens they own, and the value of their holdings. Then, you can always toggle back to “all” to see where the people you follow rank among all holders.

Swaps and Bridge fees

We recently announced that we added 0.5% fee for swaps and bridge transactions on Zapper.

The revenue generated from swaps and bridging will fund our continued investment in these features, as well as building out the most complete web3 explorer, and keeping it all free for you.

To that end, we recently announced we expanded our swapping capabilities to Arbitrum! (yey! 🥳) There is plenty more we have planned to improve these experiences, so stay tuned!

Community Updates

New exploration station in Discord

This week we launched the next exploration station, a place to gather knowledge from the community. When you find something interesting, you can share it here! If you found it informational/educational, it’s likely others will as well.

Why is that? We know that algorithms know more about you than you know about yourself, and they use that information to dish you highly tailored content that you will like. This is nice but it also puts you in a bubble. This is an opportunity to share and learn from each other to get a perspective from the bigger picture :)

We would love to see you sharing anything that helps others in their web3 journey.

If you are not in discord yet, you can join here.

And a reminder to ensure you never miss out on a Zapper event, you can subscribe to our Community event calendar by importing the following URL into a calendar app: https://sesh.fyi/calendar/8U9BUxqLboVpkci3U15CEe.ics

What’s Next?

In our last update we shared a little leak from our Terminator-In-Chief that was hinting a potential NFT project 👀.

Well, now you can watch and spy for yourself 🐶

Also, are you excited to see your NFTs from multiple chains on Zapper? 😏

Stay tuned! 🤭
