Here’s a step-by-step explanation how your pending bonuses become spendable for both you and your friend:
Step 1
Let’s say you created a ZELF account and ordered a card. Once you receive the card in your messenger, 💰My ZELF menu will show:
🔁 €4 — Pending bonuses
💫 €1 — Spendable bonuses
Congrats! One out of five Pending bonuses became Spendable just because you got your card.
Step 2
When you make a first purchase of €5 or more with your ZELF card (to buy a sandwich, let’s say), another one of your Pending bonuses will become Spendable. And, therefore, the balance will change to:
🔁 €3 — Pending bonuses
💫 €2 — Spendable bonuses
Step 3
To transform the rest of the Pending bonuses into Spendables and remove the limitations of the anonymous card, you need to verify your identity by providing documents in the chatbot. Don’t worry, we safeguard your personal data and comply with all applicable personal data protection laws and regulations.
Once you successfully pass this step, your balance will become:
💫 €5 — Spendable bonuses

2nd level referrals
Very easy: when a friend of your friend gets a ZELF card, one more bonus becomes spendable.
There’s no limit on the number of friends you can invite, and, therefore, the number of bonuses you can collect.
ZELF Bonuses: use your Spendables
Like a cashback — first, you buy whatever you want with your card. Then, you compensate the amount you paid with Spendables via ZELF chatbot and get the money back onto your card.
How does ZELF refund work?
Remember the €5 sandwich earlier? Now suppose we have €5 Spendable bonuses in our account. ZELF bot will find all eligible purchases and you will select the one you want to be compensated for.
€5 Spendable bonuses will become €5 on your card.
As if you just got a 100% discount on that sandwich purchase!
