Incentivising Community Based on the Commitment Curve

Community Leader Monthly Program.

With the start of 2022, we released ZeroSwap's Playbook and committed to taking initiatives — Community First and Customer First.

We are glad to take the first step, empowering the Community with the Community Leader of the Month Program.

This program would solely Incentivise the Community Based on their Commitment Curve. To Build a Vibrant, Self Motivated and Cohesive Community, We are introducing a Bonding Curve Model to reward the participants and contributors based on their Commitment and Time Devoted.

Commitment Curve — What is that?

A commitment curve is a bonding curve kind of a model to measure members' contribution based on the activity they conduct over time and leading from the Initiation phase — to be passive, active, and then becoming power users. (Refer to the image below)

A bonding curve model will be applied to every participant based on their contributions with the commitment curve model in place.

Contributors — A, B and C and their respective rewards

1. Contributor A: We will reward the early contributors, active since the inception of ZeroSwap, but their rewards would reduce over time if those early contributors become less involved in the Community.
2. Contributor B: Man who fishes every day gets to eat the best meal every day, a consistent contributor to the Community would get compounding, multifold rewards, as long as they genuinely believe in ZeroSwap's vision.
3. Contributor C: An intermittent contributor would earn rewards based on their active participation in the Community. Even if they stopped contributing for a few months, recognition would continue.

“Community Leader of the Month” will be selected based on their Commitments and Contributions.

If you are answering "Yes" to any of the below-mentioned roles, you are most likely a community leader already or on your way to becoming one 🦸‍♂️

• Mentorship: Mentor and guide new and existing users.
• Strong Social Media Presence: Stay active across all our Social Media handles and help to spread the updates.
• Content Creation: Make content like Memes, Videos, blogs, update threads, tweets, all related to ZeroSwap or associated chains integrated, You can go above and beyond with creativity. Whatever helps spread awareness and engagement around the idea of building a multichain ecosystem, is welcome.
• Ideation: Help team ideate activities on Community Building and Marketing.
• Active Participation: Take part in monthly activities and competitions.
• Complete all the above mentioned 5 tasks in the month: Obviously, brownie points if you do all the above things!

Regional Community Leaders

• Translation of Content — Communication is the crucial factor in growing communities across. Many important things are lost due to discrepancies in language, and hence community leaders will be helping us remove this barrier by translating important content into their regional languages.
• Moderation of the Community, Telegram and Discord — A fixed reward would be given to the regional moderators.
