I’ve always liked the month of October and not just because it’s my birthday. It’s one of those in between months where the fruits of your labour from the winter start to bloom. For me, those are the books I’ve been writing.

In Australia it’s spring, so it’s a time for regrowth and acceleration towards warmth and life. I’m not the sort of person who seeks to start exercising when it’s summer, I start months beforehand so that I can reap what I sew in summer.

Change is natural. It comes and goes. It’s inevitable. In the past, I would try and avoid it. I still don’t know why I did that. Now, I embrace it. I try to change every year. My direction might alter slightly, but I know where I’m going and what I’m doing.

Are you avoiding the change that’s coming? You shouldn’t. It could be what you’ve been looking for all this time.
