Since we were in the area, my niece, a Googler for the past year, offered to have us over for lunch where she works in Mountain View. We enjoyed catching up with her; and the cuisine was incredibly elevated and all free.

The next stop on our thirty day road trip took us across Ohio’s fertile farm lands south of Lake Erie, through a bit of rough-and-tumble Detroit rush hour traffic on toward Grosse Pointe where good friends from New York now live.
