At one time, the only choice for wings in the DFW area was Wing Stop. So they were the best thing ever. Even though the wings were small and the only flavor worth getting was lemon pepper.

Fred’s Texas Cafe (Fort Worth)

Fred’s has possibly the best burger I’ve had. It’s been around since 1978, and it qualifies as a hole in the wall.

Today I had the 1/2 lb Fredburger and cheese and Crispy Bacon Cheese Fries with grilled jalapeños and onions.

6 tablespoons butter, melted
24 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup white sugar
