Creating Atomic and Non-Atomic Assets on Blockmarket Desktop 3.0

With Blockmarket Desktop 3.0 you can easily create your own digital Asset/Token.
Determine if you want an Atomic or non-Atomic Asset.
The “New Asset” option under the “Assets” drop-down menu brings you to the “New Asset” window; by default, the first option is to create a “non-Atomic” asset.
“Non-Atomic” means that the coins you generate can be divisible(at up to 8 decimals) and that you can also set an “Interest Rate” for the tokens. If you would like a non-divisible token (that does not allow an interest rate), then please skip to the “Creating an Atomic Asset” section further below.
Creating a Non-Atomic Asset
On the “New Asset” form. Enter the “Symbol” you would like to use for your token (similar to a stock ‘ticker’ symbol), “Description”(a brief description of the Token’s Utility), “Owner Alias” (the Alias you want to own the asset), “Category”. The “Precision” is the amount of decimals you would like to put after the token, for example, if you would like your token to mimic the US dollar, select 2 so that your token can divisible by 100 like the Dollar. The “Maximum Supply” and the “Initial Supply of Asset” (max. 10 million); if you do not want to limit the maximum amount of coins, select “unbounded supply”. Enter the “Interest Rate(Percentage)” if required (or choose not to have an interest rate or to be able to change the interest rate in the future, click on the “Interest Rate Is Adjustable” box.
Click “Create New Asset” when you have completed the form, Blockmarket will ask you to confirm if you want to proceed. Click “Yes” to proceed.
You will receive a confirmation message of the transaction.
After a few minutes, your new token will show in the “My Assets” window which can be found under the “Assets” drop-down menu. This window provides you with options to “Transfer” the entire Asset to another party, “Send” the Asset, “Mint” the Asset, or “Update” the Asset.
Creating an Atomic Asset
On the “New Asset” form, click on the “Asset is Atomic” box, placing a checkmark in the box. Enter the “Symbol” you would like to use for your token (similar to a stock ‘ticker’ symbol), the “description”(a brief description of the Token’s Utility), “Owner Alias” (the Alias you want to own the asset), “Category”, the “Initial Supply of Asset” (max. 10 million) and the “Maximum Supply”, or if you do not want to limit the maximum amount of coins, select “unbounded supply”.
Click “Create New Asset” when you have completed the form, Blockmarket will ask you to confirm if you want to proceed. Click “Yes” to proceed.
After a few minutes, your new token will show in the “My Assets” window, which can be found under the “Assets” drop-down menu. This window provides you with options to “Transfer” the entire Asset to another party, “Send” the Asset or “Update” the Asset.
