Hello, Amigos!

Here we are again, to share with you some more stats about Texas Hold’em, so that you know how much chance you have of winning a game.

Remember, you might not win big in every game, but you don’t have to lose big either.

Here are some stats, that might help you play a winning game:

1. Hitting the board for a pair

If you are waiting to make a pair on the turn or river, then your chances of making a pair drop down by half if you don’t hit the board by the Turn, i.e. you have about 24% chance of making a pair on turn, and about 12% on river.

2. Flopping a set

If you’re holding a pocket pair, then your chances of flopping a set of three of that card are only 11.8%.

3. Straight by the river

If you make an open-ended straight draw by the flop, which mean that with the three flop cards on the table, you have four consecutive cards, and you need one more consecutive card on either ends of the four, then your chances of hitting a hand by the river is about 31.5%. Just ensure, that you’re getting your money’s worth our of the pot, when you bet to see another card.

4. Inside straight

Well, if you have an Inside straight draw, a Gutshot draw or Belly buster draw, meaning you have four of the five cards to make a straight, but there is a missing card in the middle, e.g. 4 5 6 X 8, then your chances of getting the missing 7 by the river are only about 9%.

We hope that understanding these possibilities will be useful in earning or saving some bucks.

May the odds be with you!
