Starting today, 5/28, anyone can create a LAMINA1 Mainnet-connected account, Profile, and start publishing content at https://lamina1.com/
Attention LAMINA1 Builders — Following a successful TGE on 5/17 and a week of early onboarding with key partners, top testers, and featured artists starting 5/20, the LAMINA1 Mainnet site is officially live and ready for public onboarding today, 5/28 at https://lamina1.com/.
This launch marks the culmination of nearly two years of planning, development, and active building with the LAMINA1 core team, early partners, and more than 100,000 open metaverse builders around the world.
But today is truly just the beginning. Now that the new platform is live and our open metaverse economy is up and running, the real work begins: We need to onboard you, reward your hard-won efforts, finalize our tokenomics and governance plan, and get the L1 token listed and out into the world at large.
Onboarding to the LAMINA1 Hub
To begin onboarding to the Lamina1 Mainnet, visit the Lamina1 Hub Home page at https://lamina1.com.
Custom-built by the Lamina1 core team, and tested/iterated on extensively by the Lamina1 community during Betanet, the Lamina1 Hub sets out to be an open platform for users and creators to discover, distribute, monetize, and engage with digital, transmedia, and open metaverse content created on Lamina1.
Once you’re on the Lamina1 Hub Home page, feel free to explore Featured Creators, Must See Content, and the Creator Studio without signing into your account. However, if you want to start creating, transacting, or building on the platform, you’ll have to create a new Lamina1 address via the pop up modal — or by clicking the green “Sign In” button at the top right corner of your page.
The first time you use it, clicking that pop up will prompt you to create an account using Web3Auth, a simple, non-custodial authentication infrastructure that will allow you to create an account on Lamina1 in about 15 seconds using any existing Social, Email, or Metamask wallet. New in Mainnet, you can also sign in using GitHub, or your Apple ID.
NOTE: If you tested with us in Betanet, we strongly encourage you to log in using the same linked account/login credentials you used before. This will give your Mainnet account the same address you had in Betanet, and will automatically link your account to potential on-chain rewards for the airdrop we’ll be conducting TBD.
From there, you’ll be taken through an initial onboarding flow that will prompt you to set a Username and Create a Profile — public pages that showcase information about you, your creations and the items you own across the open metaverse. Think of the Profile as your personal page on Lamina1 where you can showcase your content, activity, and fandom.
Once you’ve finished setting things up, you should be greeted with a special surprise — an early onboarding gift to our first 100K LAMINA1 account holders we hope you enjoy and put to good use as you pioneer on the platform.

Ok. I’m Onboarded. What’s Next?
Once you’ve completed setting up your new Mainnet account and Profile, explore Must-See Content & Featured Profiles, two new sections on the LAMINA1 Home page that will be updated regularly as more builders and creators start onboarding to the platform.
You can also start creating content on the platform via the Creator Studio, noting that right now, content creation is FREE for all LAMINA1 Hub users (minus gas) during the initial onboarding window.
We also have tons of Quests going on this week going down on the LAMINA1 Zealy page that will help guide you through public onboarding, as well as a number of community-wide celebrations happening today and tomorrow on the LAMINA1 Discord (see: #hubmania channel) to commemorate the launch and earn some bonus XP for upcoming airdrops we have planned for the community.
And of course, the entire LAMINA1 team will be celebrating on the ground this week in Austin at Consensus 2024, where we’ll be speaking, activating, and trying to onboard as many Web3 and open metaverse builders we can to join you as we mark our official Mainnet launch.
