What else?

In addition to the daily tasks presented to you above, we made many stability improvements. One of them included a major upgrade on the hotels search logic across all platforms (Browser, Android and iOS).

We have also added a wallet password recovery feature:

This feature makes it possible to recover your wallet password using your seed words.

The calendar design and usability for the search box was enhanced on all marketplace versions.

One of the most visual features added was the “popular homes and hotels” section. Here we will showcase the properties that were booked frequently and suggest them to customers. In the future, this can be coupled with premium features to increase the visibility of a hotel under a “sponsored” tag.

More options have also been added on the profile section of our marketplace where you can add more info about yourself. This will get a more central role at a later stage when the homes section will become a higher priority.

Last but not least, we have separated the wallet creation step from the registration process. This will now further ease access to the marketplace and improve conversion rates.

Regarding our milestones, we have also made huge progress. In October, we received the final confirmation from SafeCharge for the fiat payment integration and have since launched the feature in early November.

Previously, we used an API from CoinMarketCap for the LOC price on our marketplace, which was vulnerable for price manipulation from certain exchanges or traders.

With the new update, prices are now fetched in real time from the order books of HitBTC. Other exchanges will be added soon.

Prices are now updating every 10 seconds to reflect dynamic changes in the order books.

In early October, we have started the work on on-boarding 300,000 additional hotels on our marketplace and aim to complete this process until the end of the year. Moreover, the integration with air tickets is also in full swing and major components of this module have reached an advanced stage.

Our blockchain team has made great progress and we remain confident that the launch of the official testnet will be towards the end of this year. Not only that, but we have also made some very promising changes on the structure of the blockchain, which we will announce in the near future.

Stay tuned for those updates!
