Use this guide to send invoices to pool customer with Pool Office Manager and Stripe.

To create a blank invoice, click the Create Invoice button.

To create an invoice based on the service reports completed, follow the steps below:

Before sending invoices, be sure you have Created and Activated your Stripe account, then verify it is connected: https://medium.com/@PoolOfficeMgr/connecting-stripe-and-pool-office-manager-bfd2c446b1ff

Create Custom Invoice

  1. Navigate to a customer profile and select Create Invoice

2. Select the purple plus button and add either a Service, Item or Custom Item to the Invoice

3. When complete, select and confirm to Send Invoice

Create Invoice from Service Reports

  1. To invoice a customer, open their customer profile and open the Billing tab

2. Simply check the box next to the service you would like to create an invoice for. Click on the row to expand the details and view items, services and notes for that service. Then choose the Action button and select Invoice

3. You will view an invoice preview screen. This will display all the line items that will appear on the invoice, including tax and total. To add a Custom Item onto the invoice, click Add button (plus sign +) then Custom Item and a blank line item will appear for you to enter the details as well as the Quantity and Price.

To add an item from inventory, select Inventory Item and you can choose any inventory item to add to the invoice as well.

4. Once the invoice is finalized with any changes that may have been needed, simply select Send Invoice. This will generate the invoice in Stripe and automatically email the invoice to the customer in 1 hour.

5. If you would like to see the actual invoice in Stripe. Return to the Invoices tab and choose the Actions button (three dots) and select the appropriate option.

CC Billing Email

Unfortunately Stripe does not have the feature to include a billing cc email address automatically. To add a CC email, you must go through stripe.com. Once saved it will always send a copy of the email to the address. It requires a one-time manual step.

In Stripe.com, open the Customer Profile and select Update Details

Add the CC Email for invoices to be sent and choose Update Customer

Invoices will now be sent to the CC email you added in the future.
