This travel blog will be released as a series of Drabbles, stories of exactly 100 words, not including titles and CTAs.

We’ve landed in Sofia, Bulgaria! No thanks to Ryanair!

Our Airbnb is sorta nice, but is in an old communist-era building with no lights, no elevator, and handrails that detach from the staircase! So if I don’t make it home then you know why.

Tasted boza and banitsa, paired together for flavour (and my wife’s request). Not my favourite…

Then the rains caught up to us.

After a couple attempts to get outside in the rain, we find ourselves in a traditional Bulgarian tavern for dinner. Diana and her mother, Tanya, shared with me some traditional Bulgarian food. Yum!
