Art of War: Legions, a mobile strategy game from Fastone Games, is all about building your army and a hero to lead them against your enemies. So, how do you get that done? Resources! One of the most important resources in the game are gems. So, how can players build up a stockpile of them?
Running levels in one of the best ways to get more gems. Every 20 level battles won gets 120 gems, until you reach level 8000. After that, you get two opportunities to earn 240 gems per day, based on earning stars playing level 8k (20 stars and 60 stars both give 120 gems).
Collect your Idle Chest rewards often. Rewards build up for 8hrs. The amount you earn per hour is based on what level you’ve beaten, so make sure to get to level 8k as soon as possible. The maximum amount you can earn from the daily chest is 1,200 gems per day.
Headhunts are a great daily source of gems. Players earn 500 gems per day by clearing all the headhunt missions. They’re super easy and were recently reduced from 80 daily battles to 40 daily battles to earn all rewards.
Daily quests also pitch in to the gem pile. Completing all tasks will earn a player 390 gems. Doing headhunts and leveling will clear some of those tasks for you.
Gem packages and boosts are available in the shop. There are occasionally free gems given, but you can also buy packages of gems or monthly gem cards to collect daily. The growth fun can be a great source of gems over time. Having a VIP subscription earns 250 gems per day.
Gems are often given out as rewards. Battle-pass players can get over 9,000 gems a season as rewards. Earning the rank of conqueror in arena will get you 600 gems, while placing as a God of War comes with a 1,000 gems per season reward. Gems are also given out as rewards for Infinity Wars and end of season clan rewards.
Spend your gems wisely. Most new players spend gems frivolously before understanding their value. The Wheel of Fortune and Card Master games are probably the most efficient way to spend gems long term. Saving for a targeted hero is crucial to saving and spending gems well. You’ll also need gems for level 9 and level 10 troop upgrades. Spending gems for fusions, while sometimes a useful expense, can deplete your stockpile too quickly.
