SURPRISE! Just when you thought things couldn’t get spicier after the staking announcement, we’re back with more rewards for our earliest supporters. Introducing our Public Launch Leaderboard! Over 500,000 BREED tokens will be up for grabs during BreederDAO’s three-day Token Launch Auction from April 26, 2022 2:00 pm UTC to April 29, 2022 2:00 pm UTC. Special NFT prizes await the top three stakers too at the end of the 72-hour launch.

Overall Leaderboard — Points System

Points will be awarded to everyone that participates in the $BREED staking pool. These points will be calculated as follows:

Total Points = sBREED Token Amount x days staked

To find out how BREED staked is translated to sBREED, please refer to our Staking Article. We will be awarding points towards the leaderboard to everyone who stakes BREED during the public launch. To access the Overall Leaderboard, please visit the following link and click “Overall”.

Daily Leaderboards — Rewards

Other than the Overall Leaderboard, we will also have Daily Leaderboards. The point system on these daily leaderboards will be based on the following formula:

Points = sBREED Token Amount received that day

Again, please refer to the first Staking Article to find out how sBREED is calculated. To access the Daily Leaderboards, please visit the following link and click “Daily”.

We will take three snapshots on the following dates & times:

April 27, 2022 2:00 pm UTC — Day 1 Leaderboard
April 28, 2022 2:00 pm UTC — Day 2 Leaderboard
April 29, 2022 2:00 pm UTC — Day 3 Leaderboard

In every daily snapshot, the Top 1,000 stakers according to points will be rewarded with the additional BREED tokens. To make things fair and a little more exciting, there will be a different leaderboard per day. This means that your points for a particular day will not carry over to the next day’s leaderboard. This gives every Person An opportunity to make it to the leaderboard every single day and have a chance at the extra rewards. The rewards for each day are as follows, categorized according to Tier:

Below is an illustration of how the additional BREED rewards will be distributed:

By the first snapshot on Apr 27, 2022 2:00 pm UTC, Person A has already staked 20,000 BREED tokens for 6 months. She will have received 50,000 sBREED tokens. 6 months lock-up is a 2.50x multiplier.

20,000 BREED tokens x 2.50x multiplier = 50,000 sBREED

Person A will then be awarded 50,000 points towards the Day 1 Leaderboard. Assuming this puts her in Tier 10, she will receive an additional 250 BREED tokens.

By the second snapshot on Apr 28, 2022 2:00 pm UTC, Person A has staked an additional 15,000 BREED tokens that day for 8 months. She will have received 45,000 more sBREED tokens. 6 months lock-up is a 3.00x multiplier.

15,000 BREED tokens x 3.00x multiplier = 45,000 sBREED

Person A will then be awarded 45,000 points towards the Day 2 Leaderboard. Assuming this puts her in Tier 13 for that day, she will receive an additional 50 BREED tokens.

By the third snapshot on Apr 29, 2022 2:00 pm UTC, Person A has staked an additional 5,000 BREED tokens that day for 12 months. She will have received 20,000 more sBREED tokens. 12 months lock-up is a 4.00x multiplier.

5,000 BREED tokens x 4.00x multiplier = 20,000 sBREED

Person A will then be awarded 20,000 points towards the Day 3 Leaderboard. Assuming a lot of other BREED token holders staked during that day, she didn’t make it to the Top 1000 Leaderboard. She will no longer receive any additional token rewards.

Person A’s total additional rewards from the Daily Leaderboards will be 300 BREED tokens (250 + 50).

But Wait, There’s More

In line with being the Factory of the Metaverse, we are also going to be rewarding the top stakers with prized NFT Gaming assets from our breeding operations and our partner games. The top 3 stakers according to the Overall Leaderboard will be the recipients of these prizes. As a reminder, Overall Leaderboard points are computed using the following calculation:

Total Points = sBREED Token Amount x days staked

The Overall Leaderboard will show everyone’s cumulative points for the duration of the sale.
