Please note that if you have verified your objkt profile with tzkt in the past, you will need to edit your profile once again as we don’t use this anymore. We switched to tezos profile following a high number of requests. You can now edit your profile very quickly instead of days before.
Before starting, make sure you have more than 0.3 tezos in your wallet, as deploying your profile costs some tez. You can click here to learn how to get tezos. If you don’t deploy your profile, your profile won’t be edited, so please read this article until the end!
Notes:
- I only see n/a on my profile:
If you only see “n/a” on your profile, it means you haven’t started any activity. Even if you update your objkt profile, the data will only appear once you start an activity (collecting or creating a collection).
- All my information is there but my picture doesn’t appear on the corner:
If all your information and picture are there, but you don’t see your picture on the corner, it means you need to edit your profile:
It means you haven’t updated your tezos profile, or that you have updated it but that the image address you indicated was not the correct one (please read how to find the correct image address below). The reason why some information already appears on your profile is because objkt is displaying by default some data from your old profile verified with tzkt. But for all the data to appear, you need to update your tezos profile. Please read below.
How to edit your tezos profile:

Step 1. Click on “edit profile”
That will lead you to https://tzprofiles.com/
Step 2. Click on “connect wallet”
Step 3. Fill the “Basic Profile Information” fields
You will see this:
The first one is Basic Profile Information. Click on “Verify” (next to incomplete).
Fill ALL your information. Alias, description, and website, which shouldn’t be an issue. And add a link to your profile picture. Please see below.
It needs to be a link so your image needs to be online.
You could upload the image on websites such as imgur:
You can use imgur for example.
- Go to https://imgur.com/.
- Sign up. You can register with Facebook/Twitter etc. but also with your email:
3. Add an image.
Click on “images” under this user name at the top right:
4. Then click on “add images”:
5. And upload an image:
Mine was uploaded:
6. Now click on the image. You will see a lot of links on the right:
The “Direct Link” will be the one we need.
Copy it and paste it in the “Logo” field.
Then click on “submit”. It’s normal if you don’t see the picture yet. It will appear once you click on submit.
Now the image appears. Click on “review and sign”.
I click on “sign” on my Temple wallet here:
You can see that my Basic profile is now “Awaiting Upload”. Don’t close the page, let’s now do the Twitter verification (not necessary). If you don’t do it, scroll down this thread to see how to “deploy your profile”.
Step 4. Twitter verification
Click on verify at the right of “Twitter Account Verification” First, you need to add your Twitter account handle. The @ is already entered. I am @cabline1, so I typed cabline1.
Important! If you paste your Twitter address instead of your Twitter handle, it won’t work!
Important as well! My Twitter handle is @cabline1 but I didn’t include the @ only the handle without the @. If you type your handle with the @ it won’t work. Please also make sure that there is not a blank space before your handle if you copy paste.
Then you need to tweet a message to link your tezos account to your Twitter. The tweet is ready, just click on “tweet”.
Confirm in your wallet. Click on “sign”.
You will see that it opens your Twitter. Please don’t close the tezos profile page. Click on “tweet”.
Then you need to paste your tweet URL. To find it, click on “profile” on Twitter, you will see your latest tweet at the top. Then you need to look for the share button. It looks like this:
When you click on that button, you will see that there is something called, copy link to tweet. Click on this. Then go back to the tezos profile page.
Do a right click and click on paste to paste the URL of the tweet you just copied. Click on “verify tweet”.
Then click on “return to profile”.
You will see that on the page, the first two are “awaiting upload”.
Step 5. Deploy your profile
You will then need to click on “deploy your profile”. This is a blue button at the very top of the page, above “Basic Profile information”. You will see this. Click on I have read and agree, and on deploy
Please don’t forget to click on read and agree!
Otherwise it won’t work, and if you leave the page without deploying your profile, your modifications won’t be saved!
Sign this in your wallet.
You will then need to pay some fees. As you can see it is approximately 0.3 tez. Click on confirm.
Please wait a few seconds. You can see that the profile is now deployed.
Then wait a bit. It took around 20 minutes for me to appear. If you want to make sure your profile was deployed, check your wallet and see if you spent 0.3 tez or go to tzkt.io, type your address and see if you see the transaction:
And there it is!
You can add other things like Discord etc. but it is well explained. Click on “verify” and it will indicate the steps.
Edit your profile
If the information is not accurate, then you need to edit your profile. If you want to edit your profile now, you will need to delete your credential, add a new one and upload your claims.
