Unexpected Complication

Planning for the trip to Canada has been going really well. (Click on the links if you haven’t read Part 1, Part 2, or Part 3.) Thank you so much to everyone who has donated on our Go Fund Me page. I continue to be astounded by people’s generosity and support.

Nick has been training. The uniforms have arrived (but not to our house yet), and the girls get more excited each day for their birthday trip to Canada.

And then this weekend we had an unexpected complication. It turns out, that due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control we will have to move out of our home by the end of November. It is a home we had planned on staying in indefinitely… but we are renting… and though it breaks their heart as much as ours, the owners need us to move. So here we are.

We will travel to Canada in October and hopefully come home with the gold. And in November we will move our family to someplace new. We remain hopeful that we will be able to stay in the same school district so that we don’t disrupt our oldest’s school year. But all that is yet to be seen.
