CryptoUnit WCRU
9 min readFeb 10, 2022

As part of the program to create the Global Investment Portfolio, the CryptoUnit blockchain was launched. Which is developed based on the EOS code and uses the DPoS (Delegated Proof-of-Stake) consensus algorithm. Cryptowallet on the Cryptounit blockchain allows you to safely store your CRU, WCRU, UNTB, USDU tokens, make transfers, and also receive rewards from staking CRU, WCRU tokens. Read more about the Cryptounit blockchain.

II. Overview of the upper block of the crypto wallet

Whatever section of the crypto wallet you are in, at the top of the wallet there is always a block with information about your wallet, available wallet resources and links to go to the wallet sections.

1) Information about the wallet (see element 1 in Fig. 5) contains information:

  • QR code that can be scanned by a smartphone to copy the account name.
  • Account name — it is also the address of the crypto wallet. Next to the address there is a button for copying the wallet address to the clipboard.
  • Creation date of the wallet account in the Cryptounit blockchain.

2) Buttons for updating wallet token balances (see Fig. 6):

  • Refresh frozen” button — calls system smart contracts and updates data about frozen/unfrozen user tokens.
  • Refresh balances” button — calls system smart contracts and updates CRU balances to be accrued from staking.

If the time to unfreeze tokens in your wallet has already come, in order to update the data on the number of frozen and available tokens, you must first click “Update frozen” and then “Update balances”.

3) Recent transactions — a list of the last five transactions on your crypto wallet (see Fig. 6). Clicking “View all transaction history” will take you to the “Transaction history” section (for more details on the history of transactions, see chapter IV below).

IV. Section “Transaction history”

This section displays detailed information about all transactions on your Cryptounit wallet.

  • Refresh” button — updates the information on the history of transactions
  • Filter by actions: All actions, Send tokens, Staking, RAM/CPU/NET, Votes, Claim Rewards.

V. Section “Send”

In this section, you can transfer tokens from your crypto wallet to another user’s wallet or to the UnitEx exchange. To transfer tokens, you need to fill in the data:

  • Token type — select the type of tokens you want to send from the drop-down list.
  • Amount — enter the number of tokens to transfer.
  • Username to receive tokens — the address of the Cryptounit blockchain user’s wallet, where tokens should be sent (12 characters).
  • Memo — a service field that will add the value entered here as a note to the translation. When sending tokens to the wallets of your friends or acquaintances, this field is not required. When transferring tokens to the UnitEx exchange, in the Memo field, you must specify the code that you received in the UnitEx exchange account.

After filling in the data, click the “Send” button and confirm the sending by entering the PIN code in the window that opens. A message about the successful completion of the transaction will be displayed on the screen, and a corresponding entry will also appear in the “Recent transactions” block. Also, information about the transfer will be added to the “Transaction history” section (for more details on the history of transactions, see Chapter IV above).

VI. Section “Staking”

This section allows you to stake CRU, WCRU tokens for additional income, and also stake UNTB tokens to allocate NET/CPU network resources to your crypto wallet.

VI. 1) Staking CRU for CRU

Placing new stakes in this staking is no longer available.

VI. 2) Staking CRU for UNTB

Only unfrozen CRU tokens (tokens that have the status “Available”) can be placed in this type of staking. You can buy unfrozen CRU tokens on exchanges: UnitEx and LocalTrade.

A certain amount of UNTB tokens is distributed every second among all participants who have staked CRU and WCRU tokens to receive UNTB. UNTB tokens can be used to add RAM, NET, CPU resources to your wallet, can be sent to wallets of other participants, and also transferred for sale on exchanges UnitEx and LocalTrade (will appear soon).

Enter the number of CRU tokens to be staked and click the “Stake CRU” button. To return CRU tokens from staking, enter the amount of CRU and click the “Unstake CRU” button (tokens are returned to the wallet balance 72 hours after clicking the unstake button).

Staking CRU tokens to get UNTB
Fig. 10 — Staking CRU tokens to get UNTB

The result of staking CRU tokens is the accrual of UNTB tokens. To see the actual number of UNTB tokens accrued by staking, you must click the refresh button (see Fig. 11). The accrued number of tokens will be displayed in the “Unclaimed Staking Reward” column. To receive the accrued tokens to your wallet, you can click the “Claim UNTB” button at any time. UNTB tokens will be added to the balance of the crypto wallet and will immediately have the status “Available” (the balance of the wallet can be viewed on the “Wallet Dashboard”, see chapter III above for more details).

VI. 3) Staking WCRU for UNTB

Even frozen WCRU tokens (tokens that have the status of “Available” and “Frozen”) can be placed in this type of staking. A certain amount of UNTB tokens is distributed every second among all participants who have staked CRU and WCRU tokens to receive UNTB. UNTB tokens can be used to add RAM, NET, CPU resources to your wallet, you can send UNTB tokens to wallets of other participants, and also transfer them for sale on exchanges UnitEx and LocalTrade (will appear soon).

Enter the number of WCRU tokens to be staked and click the “Stake WCRU” button. To return WCRU tokens from staking, enter the amount of WCRU and click the “Unstake WCRU” button (tokens are returned to the wallet balance 72 hours after clicking the unstake button).

Staking WCRU tokens to get UNTB
Fig. 12 — Staking WCRU tokens to get UNTB

The result of staking WCRU tokens is the accrual of UNTB tokens.

VI. 4) Staking UNTB for NET/CPU

UNTB staking is intended to increase the throughput of the crypto wallet and access to the resources of the Cryptounit blockchain network. Staking lock UNTB tokens temporarily to allocate CPU and NET resources, and also unlock them when the need for them decreases and the user will unstake them.

Enter the number of UNTB tokens to be staked for CPU and NET, and click the “Stake UNTB” button. To return UNTB tokens from staking, enter the amount of UNTB and click the “Unstake UNTB” button (tokens are returned to the wallet balance 72 hours after clicking the unstake button).

Don’t unstake the entire amount of UNTB, otherwise your wallet will not be able to function.

Fig. 13 — Staking UNTB tokens to get CPU and NET resources

VII. Section “Buy / Sell RAM”

This section allows you to purchase additional RAM for your wallet and also sell RAM. The purchase of RAM is the purchase of memory by the user at the market price in UNTB tokens.

A certain type of data assumes that the user has RAM to store data on the blockchain. For example, RAM is required when creating an account, constants from a smart contract, balance to make a record about it.

To buy RAM, enter the amount of UNTB tokens and click the “Buy RAM” button. To sell RAM memory, enter the number of bytes you want to sell and click the “Sell RAM” button.

Don’t sell all your RAM, otherwise your wallet will not be able to function.
