Blockchain Cryptounit — How to create a new Crypto Wallet
CryptoUnit has its own blockchain, which is developed on the basis of the EOS code and uses the Delegated Proof-of-Stake consensus algorithm. The crypto wallet on the Cryptounit blockchain allows you to safely store your CRU, WCRU, UNTB, USDU tokens, make transfers, and also receive income from staking CRU, WCRU tokens. This instruction is intended for new users of the Cryptounit blockchain, as well as for those who already have a Cryptounit crypto wallet, but want to register another one.
Those participants of the CryptoUnit program who have CRU tokens in their CRU account (“my-cryptounit”) can access the crypto wallet where their CRU tokens are stored by following the instruction: “Key generation from CRU account”. Those who made purchases of WCRU tokens through their UGPay Group AG account can access the crypto wallet where their WCRU tokens are stored by following the instruction: “Key generation from UGPay Group account”.
The use of a crypto wallet on the Cryptounit blockchain is free, and the transfer of all CRU, WCRU, UNTB, USDU tokens is free of charge. But for the wallet to function, it is necessary to have a certain amount of UNTB tokens on it in order to add RAM memory and CPU, NET blockchain resources to the wallet.
When creating a Cryptounit crypto wallet, it will be necessary to transfer a certain number of UNTB tokens within an hour, otherwise the wallet will not be activated. At the end of this article, it is described where to get UNTB tokens for payment.
Creating a Cryptounit Wallet
1) Preparation (an example of the recommended way to store a password). Create a text document on your desktop in which you can write down your data to access the crypto wallet. On the desktop, right-click and select “New -> Text Document”.
It is better not to save your login information in a Microsoft Word document, because auto-correction may work there and your password will be saved incorrectly, it is better to use “Text Document”.
2) Open the Cryptounit blockchain website, go to the “CREATE” section and click on the “Let’s start” button.
3) Copy the 12 words of the secret phrase (seed) into the created text document. These 12 words are your password to access the crypto wallet. Check that these words are written in a text document on one line and separated by one space between words. Next, click the “I’ve backed it up” button.
4) Check that the SEED phrase is saved correctly. Click on the 12 words of your seed phrase one by one on the screen, indicating their correct order. Next, click the “Next” button.
5) The generated crypto wallet data will be displayed on the screen:
- Your private key — the key to enter the crypto wallet. The private key is a password that is generated from a SEED phrase according to the BIP39 standard. To enter the Cryptounit crypto wallet, you need to enter either a private key or a SEED phrase.
- Account name — the name that will be used as the public address of your wallet. At this stage, you can change the account name to whatever you want. Think up and enter a unique name of 12 characters in the “Account name” field (it is allowed to use lowercase Latin letters and numbers 1–5).
Copy the data specified in the field “Your private key” and “Account name” into the text document. Save the text document before starting the next step!
When registering a crypto wallet, save your address, generated SEED phrase and private key on several media at once (on your computer, USB flash drive and on paper) and keep them in a safe place. A text document with your data can be protected from viewing by strangers by adding it to a password-protected archive (you can pack the file into a password-protected ZIP or RAR archive using the WinRAR program).
Then click the “Continue” button.
6) Transfer of UNTB tokens for wallet activation. It is necessary to transfer the specified number of UNTBs (in Fig. 5: “249 UNTB”) to the address indicated in the “Account to transfer” field (in Fig. 5: “creatorcruac”). When transferring, you need to write in the “Memo” field the acount name of your wallet, which you created in the previous step (in Fig. 5: “mmoopyumeezx”).
The transfer of UNTB tokens must be completed within an hour, otherwise the wallet will not be activated, and the created account will be deleted. You can transfer more UNTB tokens — all of them will be credited to the crypto wallet you created.
The “Continue” button will take you to the wallet login page.
Where can I get UNTB tokens?
1) Purchase UNTB tokens on the UnitEx exchange.
To buy a small amount of UNTB (up to 500 UNTB), you only need to register on the exchange, verification is not required. You need to deposit your account on the exchange, purchase UNTB tokens and make a withdrawal, indicating the data where you want to transfer the tokens (fill in the fields “Account to transfer” and “Memo”).

2) Purchase UNTB tokens from other Cryptounit blockchain users. If you have friends (partners, higher sponsors), then you can buy (borrow, ask) UNTB tokens from them in the amount that you need to activate your account. It is necessary to transfer UNTB tokens to the details that you specified when creating the wallet (the “Account to transfer” and “Memo” fields).
3) Purchase UNTB tokens on the LocalTrade exchange (in the near future).
