CryptoUnit has its own blockchain, which is developed based on the EOS code and uses the Delegated Proof-of-Stake consensus algorithm. Cryptowallet on the Cryptounit blockchain allows you to safely store your CRU, WCRU, UNTB, USDU tokens, make transfers, and also receive rewards from staking CRU, WCRU tokens. Read more about the Cryptounit blockchain here.

Those who have become a member of the CryptoUnit program through their personal CRU account (“my-cryptounit”) and have any number of CRU tokens in their account can already now access their crypto wallet on the Cryptounit blockchain, where their CRU tokens are stored.

This instruction is only for those who have CRU tokens in their CRU account (“my-cryptounit”). Those participants of the CryptoUnit program who made purchases of WCRU tokens through their UGPay Group AG account can access the crypto wallet where their WCRU tokens are stored by following the instructions: “Generate a key from the UGPay Group account”. If you need to register a new (or another) crypto wallet on the Cryptounit blockchain, then use the instruction: “Registration of a new crypto wallet”.

Access key generation

1) Preparation (an example of the recommended way to store a password). Create a text document on your desktop in which you can write down your data to access the crypto wallet. On the desktop, right-click and select “New -> Text Document”.

It is better not to save your login information in a Microsoft Word document, because auto-correction may work there and your password will be saved incorrectly, it is better to use “Text Document”.

2) Login to your CRU account (“my-cryptounit”) and check that your account is verified. On the left side of the page there should be an inscription “Status: Verified”, if this is not the case, then go to the “Profile -> Account Verification” section and go through verification.

3) Go to the CRU account in the “Portfolio” section.

Copy your wallet address consisting of 12 characters into the created text document (in Fig. 1: “222aaa333bbb”).

  • Click in the CRU account on the wallet address. Information about your crypto wallet will open on the Cryptounit blockchain site. Copy the address of the opened wallet page into the text document.
  • Click on the “Generate access key” button in the CRU cabinet.

4) Copy the 12 words of the secret phrase (seed) into the text document. These 12 words are your password to access the crypto wallet. Check that these words are written in a text document on one line and separated by one space between words. Save your text document before proceeding to the next step!

When registering a crypto wallet, save your address and the generated SEED phrase on several media at once (on your computer, USB flash drive and on paper) and keep them in a safe place. A text document with your data can be protected from viewing by strangers by adding it to a password-protected archive (you can pack the file into a password-protected ZIP or RAR archive using the WinRAR program).

Then click the “Next Step” button (“Следующий шаг”).

5) Copy the secret phrase (seed) from the text file and paste it into the field for verification. Next, click the “Check” button (“Проверить”).

6) If everything is done correctly, then in the CRU personal account in the “Portfolio” section, the inscription “Private key: Generated” will appear. Click on the “Go to Wallet” button.

7) To access your wallet, enter the data from the text file:

  • Account name (wallet address, consists of 12 characters).
  • Seed phrase (consists of 12 words separated by a space).

Then click the “Sign in” button.

8) Think of a PIN code consisting of 6 digits, enter it into the text file and save. Enter this PIN code in two fields on the crypto wallet login page. And click “Set pin”.

This PIN code will be valid only for the current session of working with the wallet. If you log out of your wallet, you can set any other PIN code the next time you sign in.
