Trader Joe’s users can now receive real-time notifications for their positions to better manage their trading strategies and risk.
The Open DeFi Notification Protocol App is now available on both Apple AppStore and Google Play.
The Open DeFi Notification Protocol by defi.org is a free-for-use, community led initiative to provide users with decentralized and free mobile notifications for on-chain events. The Open DeFi Notification Protocol is powered by the Orbs network and will be executed by its decentralized network of independent nodes, known as the Orbs Guardians.
Real-time Notifications For On-chain Events
The Open DeFi Notification provides users with free and dependable mobile notifications for on-chain events in order to optimize their DeFi trading strategies and help them manage their risk. The Notification app can be used to keep track of rewards when providing liquidity, set up stop-loss alerts, help avoid impermanent loss, and more.
There are currently three types of Notifications available for Trader Joe:
- Borrow Limit — Account Health: Set up a custom threshold notification to monitor your borrowing health when engaging in lending/borrowing on Banker Joe.
- Position Worth: Get notified when your $JOE farming or staking rewards are above a specified threshold.
- Rocket Joe Launch: Get notified when a new Rocket Joe launch event has been created.

The Open DeFi Notification Protocol is an open initiative to provide users with decentralized and free mobile notifications for on-chain events.

All in all, the app supports 20 protocols across five networks: Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Avalanche and Fantom!
The Protocol has been implemented entirely by the Orbs network and will be executed by the Orbs Guardians, making this the 1st fully decentralized implementation of a notification protocol.

Devs Grant for New Contributions
DeFi.org recently launched a $100k developer grant program, in collaboration with DappRadar, focusing on teams contributing new projects to the Notification protocol.
The Open DeFi Notification Protocol is an open-source project allowing anyone to contribute and integrate notifications. With a quick and simple integration on Github, developers can provide free mobile notifications for any DeFi project for important events like accumulated pending rewards, price swings, near liquidations, stop loss, contract upgrades, new governance votes and more.
