Today’s reading: “The Ministry of Healing” pp. 411–414a.

Wherever we turn, we may hear the voice of God, and see evidences of His goodness.

Nature, despite the effects of sin, clearly illustrates God power, divinity, goodness, mercy and love. There is “life and gladness” everywhere.

As I write this, I can hear the thunder of a morning storm and hear the songs of magpies, lorikeets, peewees, minors and other unidentifiable songs of praise to God.

The photo above and others for this chapter come from a walk I did last weekend. Out in the hills, it is easy to see and feel,

All the brightness and beauty that adorn the earth and light up the heavens, speak of God.

All things tell of His tender, fatherly care and of His desire to make His children happy.

God is a person, not a principle or ethereal being. He is not nature. Nature is not God. Nature is an expression of God’s thought, so we should worship and exalt God as the Creator of nature.

He cares.
