Mito Beach

In previous blog, I took you guys to Awashima Island, which doesn’t really have many things except 3 LL:SS landmarks; Mari’s house (Awashima Hotel, Kanan’s house, and Awashima Shine. If you didn’t read it yet, here’s a link to all previous blogs including the one I just mentioned.

Part 1 : Numazu Downtown
Part 2 : Numazu Fish Market + View-O
Part 3 : Awashima Island
Part 4 : Uchiura (Mito Beach)
Part 5 : Uchiuranagahama

So, let’s jump onto the car and went straight to Uchiura, the place where all the magic happened.

Our first stop was this 7-Eleven convenience store

Just another convenience store…

Wait, it’s just another convenience store, what special about it? you may ask… Well, significant portion of 11th episode took place here! This is where You and Chika practice their performance of “Omoi yo Hitotsu ni Nare.” Also, it was the place where Chika answer a call from Riko, when she was in Tokyo for her piano competition.

1st and 2nd year talking to Riko on the phone

Walking to the road in front of the store and you will see this…

That’s right, this is where You-chan rode her bicycle in the “Koi ni Naritai AQUARIUM” PV. Walking on the side of road to the north and this bus stop can be spotted.

Bus stop from the 5th episode of anime

Right, this is where girls came after a meeting at Chika’s place.

The same blue sign

Turn right after walking up north and you will enter an alley, which will lead you to Hanamaru’s place. “Mirai Zura”

Where Hanamaru talked on her phone in 12th episode
Hanamaru in the 8th episode

In the real life, Haramaru’s place is Raikoji temple, which is really shady and beautiful.

Landscape from the temple is quite nice too :) But, there’s really nothing up here, so we left and walked back to 7-Eleven, which on the way, we encountered this on the right…

This is Uchiura gyokyō, where seafood are sell, which is where You-chan pose for Dengeki G’s Magazine April 2016, after walking less than 10 meters further, we saw this on our left hand side (facing south)…

This cafe is where 1st and 2nd year sit down for a break after the whole day of shooting PV, unfortunately it was closed on the day we visited. So we continued to the next stop.

This bridge between 7-Eleven and Uchiura gyokyō is where Yoshiko and Mari pose for this Dengeki G’s Magazine September 2016 page. Back to the track, we walked passed the 7-Eleven and arrived at Mito-beach. Yasudaya Ryokan (Chika’s house) and Riko’s house can be seen here!

From the 8th episode

Although I’m a real fan of Love Live! Sunshine!, I’m not brave enough to jump into the water like Riko did in the 1st episode because in April here, it’s 15 degree celcius, so now I understand why Chika stop Riko from jumping.

Huge splash…

Well, I hope they didn’t catch a fever LOL…!

The opposite side of the beach is of course, Yasudaya Ryokan or Chika’s house and Riko’s house is located on the left.

So beautiful… At this point, let’s take a panarama of Mito beach as cloud was very beautiful.

This remind me the PV of “ Yume de Yozora o Terashitai” from the 6th Episode.

Okay, so let’s end the first part of Uchiura tour here…

Right, this is where Chika walked home in the 1st episode and on the back, it’s “Izu・Mito Sea Paradise,” where the PV of “ Koi ni Naritai AQUARIUM,” but since I’m not a big fan of visiting aquarium, I decided to not enter it. Anyway, here’s the map for reference in case you wanna visit it yourself.

Okay, so that’s it for today. In the next blog, I’m gonna take you guy for more tour of this beautiful part of Numazu, and visit more LL:SS landmarks such as Kurosawa’s house, several important bus stop, and Sannoura General Information Office, which filled with LL:SS fanart and goods for Love Liver to enjoy. Bye, see ya!
