Today, we’re bringing you big news about our new updates to the MetaChess platform. We invite you to register, login and experience those new features for yourselves.
Now, let’s discuss what’s new on the platform.
In-Game Chat
We’ve decided to implement an in-game chat function so players can message each other while competing. Of course, you need to be registered on the platform if you wish to use this feature.
Spectators Chat
Similar to the in-game chat, we’ve implemented a spectators chat. Spectators can also text each other, but they can’t see the players’ personal conversation. They can see players’ major moves, such as “white offers a draw” or “black resigns” etc.
Refreshed UI
We’ve touched up the UI on the game landing page. This should make playing chess more seamless, while providing a more aesthetically pleasing experience.
What to expect moving forward?
We’re looking forward to making sure that the Tournament Mode is ready so that we can commit ourselves even more to building up the chess community through organizing online tournaments. We’re also working on the MetaChess Warfront Alpha release.
We’re also planning to add the game stats board to the homepage. This should attract more visitors to the platform, as well as motivate others to sign up and try to earn money while playing chess.
Soon, P2E smart contracts will be available for testing. If you wish to learn more about all the ways you can earn SHAH on our platform, read this article. Going forward, we’ll continue to explore and enable even more features for our members to earn on the platform!
In conclusion, all we’ve done and that we’re planning to do is important to retain the already existing user base, as well as attract new players. We hope the exciting gameplay, earning opportunities and solid user experience will set us up for success over the long term.
About MetaChess:
MetaChess is the first 3D multiplayer play-to-earn (P2E) and NFT metaverse chess game. The platform is in 2D and 3D. The 3D version will be divided into two. The first part is the regular chess game, with traditional chess pieces in 3D. The second part is more animated and fancy. It consists of chess pieces in the form of humanoid characters. You can own NFTs (unique chess pieces) which will be used in the game. The platform also has play-to-earn (P2E) models that make it worth players’ time. The 2D version is currently playable. You can either play with AI or play with another user.
