Lego Build 110 — Wheeled Scout

Sometimes you just need something small and simple to check and harass enemy positions. Sometimes you don’t even need to defeat enemy armor and airpower. Just to be annoying enough to force your enemy to make a mistake. Or find out what they’re up to. Due to all of this even in the Mech dominated battlefiels of the Inner Sphere a small wheeled scout can make all the difference.

Such vehicles exist in many shapes and sizes and have participated in all military campaigns throughout the Inner Sphere and beyond. Due to somewhat humble nature of their design and function, the wheeled scouts remained distant from public eyes, which is a shame given how vital these operations are.

Nonetheless, there were occasions when these machines came to the forefront. During the campaigns on the Periphery. Or used by the Davion loyalists against Kurita and SLDF forces on Royal. Or as commando raiders during a revolution in the edge of the Federated Suns. Their history is long and distinguished.

This a very small model and one that’s really easy to make. It uses 28 parts. It is an addition to the growing roster of vehicles that I am adding alongside the ‘Mechs. More of the latter to come, as well as fighters and space ships, evidently.

But one shall never forget the patrols, daring raids, and fast scouting done by the humblest of the machines on the battlefield. Sometimes simpler is indeed better.
