So I’m in Uni. It’s two PM, post Intro to Lit. I’m snoozy.
My inky moonlit room is smoky. Toons on TV. I sink my tusks into non-nutritious mix — sour lollipops, mini mints, M&Ms.
Pop! Split!
Ow, nuts! My jowls, my poor tusk! It squirms twixt my lips. I try to join it to its now roomy roots. It slips. I pivot it in. It just won’t join.
I know now… I must pull it out. I try. I yoink, I ripost. No link. I twist it. It still sojourns in my lips, in my torso-top.
OK, I jilt it. I’m vim-y now. I must unroot you, runt! I will jolt out my tusk.
I spy my yo-yo. It’s my sport. I won’t swim, ski jump, or row, so I yo-yo. Look, I’m no virtuoso.
I link my wiry yo-yo plus my tusk to my kip (or, snoozy wink mill). I squirm, so I swill two sips rum. I’m woozy.
On two, I rip my yo-yo. Tusk zips out. I yowl, jowls pink.
Worn out, I slink into town. It’s stormy out. Six PM now. I slip, I’m lost. I mourn my lost tusk. I’m sorry, tusk.
Unruly mutts in snowsuits rip onionskins — quirky illusions I mistrust. I unkink my pupils. I stir, I roust. Snoozy? Moonlit room? No, it’s still two PM!
Wow, twist! I romp. My tusk, my jowls, I kiss my own lips. I spy my non nutritious mix — lollipops, mini mints, M&Ms. I’ll skip it.
