Lees Pond is exceptionally scenic.

Great friends live in a quiet, forested area along the small, 154-acre lake, which drains into vast Lake Winnipesaukee (44,422 acres).

We visit them often.

When the water’s warm, we enjoy activities such as swimming, kayaking, canoeing, sailing and paddleboarding. When it’s frozen, we love playing hockey and skating.

July 23 was hot and humid at Lees Pond, but the water was quite inviting. Late in the day, I paddled around the lake in my kayak and the scenery was awesome.
