Re-inventing ourselves is the most important skill nowadays. I’m re-inventing myself by improving in 15 areas at a time. This post is part of my Re Human project.

Today I found this very juicy scientific paper arguing through theory (based on neuroscience research) why the GTD (Get Things Done) method is awesome for stress-free productivity.

Daily Habits

Books: I’ve been listening to The Dream Machine. Some notes from today:

The vision wasn’t just personal computing. It was personal distributed computing — with the the ability to share.

Internet exploded because of its openness. It’s an open network of networks.

The name of the computer language C came because there was a previous experimental language called B by the friend of the creator, so he named his C — and it stuck.

When building a tool: it must be fun to use.

Writing: This post, code, and a daily thought.

Re Human Extended Activity: Tuesdays is Music Production.

Spent some time finding “old, familiar beats” songs that I could potentially use to make music that resonates with people (based on my theory I explained in a previous post). Then I spent some time in Beatport because a friend that I consider really good at music production recommended me checking out. Then some time in Splice. Then trying to put something together in Logic Pro, this time using my keyboard as a MIDI — but nothing cool came out of it.

Fitness: My warmup, pull ups, handstands, human flag practice.

Meditation: 20mins w Muse headband.

Piano: Been learning La La Land’s Sebastian and Mia’s theme!

Today I also felt the relaxation feeling that “comes from playing piano” :).

Soccer trick juggling: Today I was very close a couple of times to doing two around the worlds without the ball falling to the ground in the middle of them.

Connections, takeaways and Ideas for tomorrow

“Relax, nothing is under control.” — Adi Da

Today I woke up earlier than usual and did my writing then. I enjoyed it so will do it tomorrow too.
