Greeting everyone!
The community bonding period has already ended this fast! It’s the summer of code, now!
Let me first introduce myself again, I am Vijay KV (you can call me Vijay ) from India. I study Bachelor’s of Technology in Computer science, at Rajagiri University.
At the beginning of the community bonding period, My first step was to contact my primary mentor Piumal and backup mentor Jayasanka who is in charge of the project O3 User Onboarding on behalf of OpenMRS. So I contacted them through the Slack channel and we agreed to go on for a weekly based meeting.
On the second week, I set up a call with mentors and discussed where all we can include these onboarding flows and where can we set up these onboardings. We also finalized to go with the React Joyride library for the implementation.
On Week 03, I’ve implemented a Sample draft PR to showcase the User-Onboardings in patient-registration module.
Also I had a chance to Join the UI/UX design call where I enquired about the designs of onboarding flow, Multi-state routing flows and where we can place enable/disable button which is manually triggered by user to see onboardings.
During the last few days of the community bonding period, I went through the project documentation, related repositories and updated those.
As the community bonding period concludes, I embark on the coding period of GSoC with a sense of purpose and determination.
