YouTube’s expansion continues to accelerate at an all-time rapid rate and won’t be slowing down anytime soon. It’s important to be in the NEW NOW KNOW for what’s occurring and what’s emerging.

With that being said, I would like to share with you 5 Things You Should Know About Profitable Shifts for YouTube Channels for Business…

1. Simplistic Productions with a combo of audio-visual and VLOGS using a less content posting hustling system.

While traditionally posting several times a day to keep attention towards your channel may have been the going thing; however, the next level for higher profitability and popularity for your channel’s growth will more than likely come from leveraging a less is more model.

This less is more type of agenda can look like, not spending too much time trying to have cosmetically perfect videos that take up quite a bit of time for post productions and just using quality thumbnails with videos that don’t have all of the bells and whistles. Also, creating more short form audio-visual style features and impromptu VLOGS. These videos take up less time for both pre and post productions.

Instead of posting so many videos a day, prescheduling one or two videos to post every other day or mainly on the weekends will give your audience a chance to ingest your content and take action. Over-inundation of videos is starting to turn several subscribers off. We must keep in mind that they aren’t only subscribed to our channel and probably consume a lot of content online.

Sure, we want to stay top of mind; however, how we go about doing that moving forward is shifting and more people are becoming minimalist in terms of their content consumptions. They would much rather watch the same video several times to gain the maximum benefits than to keep having more come at them. However, if you’re going to post several times a day then it’s best to leverage short-form content that’s five minutes or less. 30 to 60 second shorts would be even better.

2. Raw Organic or Natural Backgrounds

Most are starting to get away from too much techy/fancy style productions and leveraging more of the natural scenery whether it be their rooms, cars or outdoors. Being authentic in the RAW in a more organic way is becoming more and more popular and relatable to viewers. This also helps to level up both the personal and professional branding aspect which of course, is great for impact and income. Using these formats save time and it’s a more resourceful way for self-expression and lifestyle-preneurial appeal.

3. Animated or Cartoon Whiteboard Doodle Styles

If you’ve noticed in the last few years (especially since the pandemic) several small and top brands have been using animation and doodle-style videos to make a connection to their core audience. This approach is less intimidating and more engaging even above traditional Face-Share-Personal-Touch videos. Also, it appeals to both the youth and adults who are desiring a fun, yet non-traditional viewing experience. These types of videos keep the attention of the viewers much like cartoons and 3D animations have an impact on the overall watching experience. We don’t want to miss a thing and again they are fun to watch, and it takes the seriousness out of things.

4. YouTube Short Vehicle Messages & VLOG WALKS Empowerment

YouTube Shorts will continue to grow popular, especially the video car vlog as well as VLOG outings and empowering messages on the go. People enjoy watching others’ mini-reality style shows and these formats work well for one’s personal and professional branding elements for both entrepreneurs and social media influencers alike. Shorts are the perfect soundbite marketing vehicles of expression strategies for making a quick connection.

The vlog walks are enjoyable because it’s allowing others into your world of just naturally being who you are as you’re on the go. It shows that you’re a real person with a real-life doing REAL THINGS without having to be in a studio whether it be a home studio or a traditional studio.

5. Multi-Interest Style Channels vs Traditional Niche-Focused Channels

Nowadays YouTubers are desiring to showcase a wide range of their talents and often don’t want to feel limited or confined to a specific niche focus. We are in the era of entrepreneurial expression and brand artistry expansion so more online influencers and entrepreneurs want the freedom and flexibility to provide a holistic approach to their lives without having to be so centrally focused on a core theme for their channel. So, you will start to see more One-Stop-Shops for multi-interest viewers.

Indeed, traditional niched focused channels are still very much relevant; however, you will find that those will be more suited for already well-established brands/businesses or core corporation focuses like luxury and lifestyle experiences on a grander scale.

Having a multi-interest-focused channel allows the YouTuber to expand their impact and income agenda and scale their business for the higher-end advantage where they become their own marketplace.

So why are these five shifts important to make in the present?

The last thing you want to do is wake up one morning and find that you are behind the eight ball because you didn’t evolve with the expansion that was underway. When we are asleep to the subtle yet significant changes taking place, we miss out on the momentum building seasons when major game changing shifts were underway.

I encourage others to implement new processes for at least 90-Days using three sets of 30-Day increments for best results. You want to give an accurate amount of time for your process to build up momentum to the new that’s being put in place.
