College life hits hard.

People say, “College is the best part of your life”.

What they don’t tell you, is that college also involves ruined sleep cycles, more teenage drama than most actual teenagers have, and 80 hour work weeks.

I might be exaggerating, but it sure does feel that way.

Man, college life hits hard.

We’re burning through the semester, and it feels like no time whatsoever has passed, and yet, and yet, a bone-deep weariness has settled into us, and it feels like we’ve been at this for several lifetimes.

… It’s fall now, and winter is fast approaching. I can feel it in the air.

No, quite literally.

Delhi has a bit of a unique climate — I had a lovely discussion with some PhD scholars the other day about it — in that it’s not got one that’s truly it’s own. It’s situated, geographically speaking, lower that the surrounding areas , meaning that it is easy for air to flow into the city than it is for it to flow out. winter makes it worse, making the air cold, so that it settles into the basin itself, resulting in a near-zero wind speed across the city. that means the pollution from the city can’t escape, and the pollution from all around collects here too.

The result is a thick grey haze encompassing the city at all times, even at noon, and the air tasting like ash and metal. Needless to say, it is most unpleasant.

Anyway, halloween is upon us, and I have ideas. I’m bit hung up over my choices, but I guess I’ll figure it out eventually.

Happy spooky season, and remember, we must not let the threat of Christmas season advance any further. Hold the line, Soldiers!

(A.N. Sorry for the delayed update, I’ll tell you what happened next time.)
