The best part about being a fledgling publication is there’s room to grow — so grow with us, we have plenty of room for your story

I don’t expect any new publication to take off like it had wings, but there has been some activity with my new one — ‘A Haven for New Stories,’ and I’m thrilled there is interest.

For those who don’t know — it’s a new publication dedicated only to stories — essays and memoirs — just stories. Why? Because I feel there is a need for more spots to send our stuff!

This past week

I had an Introduction published in Nice, Sweet, Valuable, which will give you a good idea of what this publication is about.

A Haven for New Stories: Another Place for Essays and Memoirs

A few new stories were published:

When My Dreams of Future Events Became Realities

The Joys and Pitfalls of Selling Online

A Mouth Full of Unusual Teeth

Reminder:

FOR OLDER STORIES — please read the guidelines, below, then send them to ‘Digging Up Bones.’ Easy. Send the URL in the comments below, or any ‘Digging’ Issue, guidelines, or newsletter. We’re up to Issue # 24, coming out soon!

FOR NEW STORIES — please read the guidelines below, ask to be a writer, and send your draft to ‘A Haven for New Stories.’ You should hear from me shortly after. I’m keeping stories per day low so your story is highlighted on the front page for at least 24 hours, and I am planning a quick turnaround time so you know the status of your story.

Guidelines for ‘A Haven for New Stories.’

Feel free to comment below, ask questions, and, by all means — send stories — old stories and new stories— to one of the above-mentioned publications.

After all, it’s about getting our stories out there for others to enjoy!

I'm retired, love spending time with family, writing, and walking. My publications are about keeping good stories at the forefront for all to read and re-read.
