From online venting to getting published in a magazine, I’ve come a long way.
Have you ever heard of a person with not one, but two birthdays?
Some people who know me…well, they have.
And if you haven’t before, now you will too.
Sometimes, I like to tell people that I have two birthdays.
My first birthday falls on the day I was physically brought into this world in 1998, cementing my Gen Z status that I put in my bios.
However, my second birthday marks the day that I actually started to live my own life.
With my dark upbringing, these two dates are, unfortunately, not the same day.
Confused? I’ll explain down below.
Symbolism
One of the defining characteristics I could give you about me is my penchant for symbolism.
Symbols, ideas, statements, and objects of deeper significance have always meant a lot to me, as you’ll see in my writing, images of choice, things that I say, and in the ways that I describe myself.
