Where I’m From
I hail from the vibrant and diverse landscapes of Nigeria, within the beautiful continent of Africa. A country rich in culture, tradition, and stories that have shaped my perspective and ambitions. My journey began in college in 2005 when I enrolled in a FORTRAN programming course."I took it upon myself to become self-taught and armed myself with knowledge from free ebooks on HTML, CSS, and C# that I found on the internet. It was a journey full of self-discovery and I learned so much along the way. This early fascination with technology wasn’t just a passing interest; it became the compass that directed the course of my life.
My Professional Journey
After completing my undergraduate studies in Nigeria, I was fortunate to land a scholarship to further my studies in the United States in 2015, where I pursued a Master’s degree in Environmental Science.
However, I have always had a passion for technology. I have always dreamed of building applications that matter. This drive steered me towards a new path — software development. I enrolled in a software development BootCamp in 2019 right before the pandemic while working as an Environmental Lab Technician
The transition was both challenging and exhilarating but my journey didn’t stop there. I went on to obtain another Master’s degree, this time in Computer Science, cementing my transition into the tech industry.
My Source of Joy and Motivation
I have a wonderful five-year-old who brings so much energy into my life and a beautiful partner who is a constant source of inspiration. They are a reminder of the importance of using technology to create a better and more sustainable world.
Living a Life of Learning and Sharing
I'm passionate about continuous learning and sharing knowledge. My latest venture into technical writing has been fulfilling. I aspire to make technology approachable and exciting for others. Join me in this journey of discovery!
