About Me — Mica

You’d think it would be simple given how frequently I’ve been asked open-ended questions or to describe “yours truly”. However, I still find it difficult to put myself or my life in a compelling context. I, therefore, hesitated to provide an “About Me” anecdote. But why not learn a little bit more about me? I mean, I wrote this page and created this life. ✨

• Once upon a time (September 2002, to be exact), in a little town in Pennsylvania, I met my husband, then boyfriend, at the tender age of 15. Long story short, this African American queen instantly fell in love with her Puerto Rican king. We eventually married and have been together ever since. The End.
• Before a particular well-known TV network glamorized the show and concept, I was a teen parent.
• We have four amazing kids, a princess, and three princes!
• I love football and enjoy playing Fantasy Football: I am a Philadelphia Eagles fan. 🦅 #FLYEAGLESFLY
• King of the Hill is my favorite animated series.
• I love all music genres (except country; trust me, I tried that), including rock! Rap is my favorite. 🎧
• I love to travel, especially internationally. 🌎 Florida is my favorite US vacation destination. Jamaica and Cuba are my favorite international destinations. When I travel, I love being in the company of the…
