I was inspired to write this About Me story because of the story my Medium friend DLNemeril wrote about herself. She is a good person doing good in the world. Check out her story here: About Me — DLNemeril

My day-to-day life is firmly planted in the regular everyday world and in the spiritual world. I don’t actually see a difference between those two; I think we just live, and what we are paying attention to at any given moment makes us decide which sphere that thought belongs in.

I was born in the 1950s when air raid drills were part of life in the US. Not that hiding under your desk or in the hallway at school with your hands over your head would prevent you from being melted in a thermonuclear blast, but we practiced those things anyway.

It was an odd time — a scary time to be a kid who paid attention to the news about the Cuban missile crisis.

Living in the spiritual world with literal ideas

I’ve always been a highly spiritual person, which has gotten me in a lot of trouble. More trouble than anything else except for being literal — that has gotten me in more trouble with more people than anything else.
