About Me — Niklas
My personal antidote to seriousness
I’m a dad; I excelled in sports during early twenties; I sucked in my german class in school; I studied environmental engineering, but now build learning management systems; I only started to fell in love with coffee at the age of 26; I only found out I like to write at the age of 36; I’m an introvert by nature; and I can’t survive without sports, coffee and time in solitude.
The first thing to know before you read any further — I didn’t write that for you.
I solely wrote it for myself, just as everything that follows. I wrote it to find out who I am and what I like to write about.
But my mind is obviously only capable of doing the magic of connecting the dots if I take care of two things. First, I need to start blindly typing on my keyboard — as little thinking as possible involved. And second, I need to write like I’m sitting in a cafe talking to a good friend. So you’re in for a treat — following my raw thinking taking its natural course; make sure you have some coffee at hand, so you have something to do when you’re getting bored.
At this point, I’m probably more curious than you are. Which probably makes a lousy essay. But that’s exactly the point; it has to be exactly like that.
