About Me — Tamara Low
finding the magic
Greetings from BC, Canada!
I am endlessly curious and love to explore, learn about and experience new things!
At eighteen, a three-week backcountry Outward Bound course, to this day, remains one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.
My latest adventure was recently winding up a life-altering, year-long “Wandering Medicine Wheel’ journey.
I am fascinated to learn about and understand my and others’ inner world, journeys, things we have overcome, and triumphs along the way. Human beings are endlessly interesting and complex creatures.
I am coming up on five decades on this planet, so I have accumulated a lot of life experiences.
Upon reflection, I have spent way too many Earth hours navigating the depths of despair and desperately searching for the magic of life. However, I consistently find magic in nature, animals, music, acts of kindness, empathy, deep connections, laughter/humor, dance, art, peace, love, and care for one another.
For almost 30 years, I have been on an inner journey to reclaim who I AM underneath the layers of suffering and pain. In 2020, I contributed a chapter to the book I AM: Releasing the Shame of Narcissistic Abuse, explaining my journey navigating this topic.
