About Me — Writer Momma
The Wearer of Many Hats
Writer Momma was established in February of 2024, the month of professing your love to someone. My love is writing and has been since 2003, so I decided to establish my brand, Writer Momma. Finally!
In the first days of my writing, I read everything I could about writing. I subscribed to all the writer magazines I could find and bought every book on writing under the sun, that I could afford. I even took some courses, in which I received a diploma with the highest honors in Creative Writing. I proceeded to take another course in Writing Stories for Children. But, I got so busy in life that I only finished half of that course. I do plan to finish that course, seeing how it is already paid for. I just haven’t taken the time to do so. My reason … trying to make money is more important than getting that piece of paper to hang on my wall. Now that life is slowing down a little (two of my children have married and moved out), I have a little more time than I used to, so maybe I will go back and finish that course and proudly hang that diploma on my wall beside the other one. One of my biggest flaws with that course that my teacher pointed out was that I was not very good at creating illustrations for my children’s stories.
