Update: Yesterday both of my stories, including this one, that had been accused of plagiarism and removed, have now been restored and I have been completely exonerated; I am NOT guilty of plagiarism. I have written this in the following article:

A few days ago I became aware that I have been unjustly accused of plagiarizing. While I understand the frustration and distress of anyone who thinks their work has been copied, people should make sure they are right before they tell hundreds of their readers someone is guilty.

I have not even been given a chance to respond.
