What A Fiasco, Am I Staying or Going?

You know, we all get to points in our life’s path where we come across some of the most unsavory characters in the world. While some of us can’t help but to be in the places in life that we end up, there are places that can and most times, should be avoided like working in a restaurant.

Working in a restaurant can lead you to acknowledging a dark side that you never knew you had, it can be scary. Very scary. Last night, a not so subtle verbal disagreement broke out between the sous chef and the grill guy.

Now, I love grill guy like a brother and the sous chef, I’m dealing with him for my boss’ sake. I can be cordial and I can play ball under the right circumstance.

Anyway, so there was an altercation, the sous chef and grill guy had it out. I’m running back and forth trying to get my food up and over to the sous chef.

Now, the way the grill guy came at the sous chef, I did a lot of the same except for the loud roar during service. My confrontation with the sous chef happened at the time it did after the kitchen closed, but that’s neither here nor there.

Then, the sauté guy said he might possibly leave if the arguing and whatnot keeps up. Now, I always said I’d stand by my friends no…
