A modern-day Zen teacher said, “Keep doing zazen. I can’t tell you know why. Just keep doing it.”
In my Zen practice, I sit every day. Not zombie-like or robotically. It is what I do, but I know it is transformative. It’s a positive influence. Even intuitively I know it’s what I should do. I don’t resent it. In fact, I choose it.
“Keep doing zazen!”
